This is one of my favorite designs for Christmas. It’s super easy and fast to make – even the kids will enjoy making these. It’s only 2 layers to cut then glue together and today I’m going to show you the steps I took to make it with my Cricut Explore. Since it is such a simple project I’m including every detail I could think of that will hopefully help even the newest of crafters make it. This will be perfect for a newbie just learning to use their machine or for quick & easy Christmas crafts for the kids this year. I actually plan on cutting a bunch for my daughter’s 3rd grade class to make for their holiday party this year.

I chose a heavy green cardstock for the base and a green glitter cardstock for the top. Then in my Cricut Design Space Canvas I uploaded the svg file from my design. You can grab this design where Crunchy Pickle designs are sold or even grab it straight from Cricut Design Space in the Crunchy Pickle shop. I do have a published product of this HERE in Design Space – if you click the heart to like it my Christmas will be merrier! If you are here during the Merry Making Shop Hop you can get this design free HERE and check out on Crunchy Pickle with code MMSH2023

(If you are using the file straight from the Cricut Design Space store you will skip this step and just add to canvas.)

Now I was ready to get my cardstock out and place on the cutting mat.

Now came the fun part!

Now I have a cute new Christmas ornament for the tree! Now go grab this design to make your own and don’t forget to check back for a new Freebie Friday design every week. Thank you for reading – Merry Christmas and happy pickle hunting!
