Hello and thank you for stopping by Crunchy Pickle! My name is Cissy Shields and I am a wife and mother to 2 kids almost grown. I always knew I would one day want to start making my own designs to sell and now that my kids are getting a little more independent I have found the time to bring out more of my creative side to start this new venture.
I have been an avid crafter for many years and after I had kids found scrapbooking to be my new passion. This was before electronic machines were available to purchase so you can imagine my excitement when I first laid eyes on the original Cricut cutting machine. I remember literally hyperventilating at a demonstration at a local Michaels craft store lol. This was the beginnings of my obsession with cutting files. While I adored and collected many cartridges and spent numerous hours cutting designs to fill my scrapbook with I still always felt I wish I could customize the designs a little more. Then I remember the Silhouette Cameo first coming out and that same excitement along with the hyperventilating hit me again. This opened up a whole new world for me. So of course I dug right in – I still have and use the original machine I bought back in 2012. I also have the Cricut Explore and all of the tools and supplies that your average craft hoarder collects. Since then I have made a hobby out of learning new software and using different ones to design in.
I am also a bit OCD which is great for you as a customer. My designs are created with the smallest amount of edit nodes possible to give you a super smooth and cleaner cut that cuts faster.
